Welcome to Catania,
a city of history, culture, and passion, honored to host the participants of the 59th European Convention and 47th District Convention.

This important event will be a journey into the soul of our land: from monuments that tell centuries of history, to the authentic flavors of traditional Sicilian cuisine; from the majestic Mount Etna, a symbol of strength and renewal, to the timeless beauty of Taormina, the pearl of the Mediterranean.

The Convention will also represent a valuable opportunity to experience a true full immersion in topics of great interest to us Kiwanians, thanks to a rich program of events, workshops, and showcases designed to encourage discussion, growth, and the sharing of ideas and values.

All of this will be made even more special by the warm Sicilian hospitality, in a land kissed by the sun and the sea, where tradition and welcome come together to offer an unforgettable experience.

This year, the European convention will be held jointly with the Italy-San Marino District convention, from 28 to 30 May, in the beautiful and culturally rich city of Catania, Sicily.

Browse the programme for this unique event and you will see that a trip to Catania is well worth it!

🏨 Please note that our Host Committee has negotiated rates at the Four Points by Sheraton and the Grand Hotel Baia Verde. Reservations at the negotiated rate will only be available until 10 March 2026. So be sure to book your rooms quickly if you wish to stay at one of these two hotels. A SICILIAN WONDER FOR OUR OPENING CEREMONY

A Sicilian wonder, rich in decorations and allegorical symbols, the Teatro Massimo Bellini will host our opening ceremony on Friday, 29 May.

Experience this official opening, which will give you the opportunity to discover Catania and Sicily in an elegant setting of Baroque architecture.
