A PROMISING FUTURE FOR KIWANIS IN EUROPE

From May 1 to 3, Kiwanis Europe gathered its youngest members in the beautiful city of Lisbon for the European Young Kiwanis Summit (EYKS). What unfolded over those three days was both heartening and inspiring — a reminder that the values at the heart of our organisation are alive and well in the generation that follows us.

Young Kiwanians travelled from across the continent, bringing with them a genuine sense of purpose and a deep enthusiasm for the future of our movement. Seeing them in action was a powerful reminder that the Kiwanis spirit does not skip a generation.

TÉLÉVIE CELEBRATES ITS 25TH ANNIVERSARY

Luxembourg’s Kiwanis clubs are joining in!

Created to support cancer research, particularly into leukaemia in children, Télévie in Luxembourg celebrated its 25th anniversary this year. As is the case every year, the Kiwanis clubs were there, contributing countless hours of voluntary work alongside hundreds of local volunteers to the cause and raising funds to boost the total.

What a day! Whilst Télévie involves fundraising activities throughout the year, the day itself and the grand closing evening are truly moving.
To everyone’s delight, Grand Duke Guillaume and Grand Duchess Stéphanie honoured the event with their presence, taking the time to listen to experts and patients alike, and even picking up the phone to speak to donors.
