On behalf of KI-E President Elio Garozzo, it is my pleasure to invite you to the next European convention, which will be held as a hybrid event in Catania, Sicily, from 29 to 30 May 2026, at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel and Conference Centre, with the possibility to participate in the meeting from any place from real-time on-line communication.
On Saturday, 30 May, during the House of Delegates at this 59th European convention, we will discuss:
- Determination the quorum
- Accepting the Standing Rules for the House of Delegates
- Approval of the minutes of the last General Assembly
- Report of the President
- Report of the Treasurer
- Report of the auditors
- Approval and possible resolution on the discharge of the Management Board esp. of the Treasurer
- Present and propose to approve the finances 2024-25
- Present and propose to approve the financial budget 2026-27
- Presentation of the Program 2026-27 by President-elect
- Election of President 2026-27, President-elect 2026-27 and Vice president 2026-27 (candidates must have endorsement from their districts)
- Election of the auditors 2026-27
- Confirmation of the incoming European Board 2026-27
- Presentation and vote on proposed amendments to the KI-E Articles of Association and resolutions
- Report by KI Board members from Europe
- Presentation of the Secretary and the Treasurer 2026-27
- Presentation of the country and place for the next European Convention
- Any other business
The convention brochure with more details regarding the agenda, information on candidates for election to KI-E functions, and the final convention program will be available in the next few weeks.
Registration
Club members need to register via the European Convention webpage exclusively. Please note that only clubs in good standing can present candidates and delegates to the convention. The deadline for clubs to be in good standing is 27 April 2026.
Online registration will close on 11 May 2026.
🛎️ Your Host Committee has secured special rates at the Four Points by Sheraton and the Grand Hotel Baia Verde. Rooms at these set rates will only be available until 10 March 2026. So be sure to book your rooms quickly if you wish to stay at one of these two hotels. Links to the booking pages can be found in the registration form.
Certification of club delegates
Club delegates who will take part in the voting during the House of Delegates need to be reported by the club secretary making use of the certificate of election for delegates and alternates. The duly completed certificate needs to be submitted (electronically) no later than 11 May 2026.
