Let’s Mobilize for Nepal!

Dear Kiwanian Friends,

In the face of the terrible tragedy that has struck Nepal, we cannot remain indifferent.

I waited for guidance from our International President, Michael Mulhaul, before promoting a European mobilization, in order to avoid overlapping or competing initiatives and to ensure that our assistance could be coordinated, concrete, and effective.

Now is the time to act.

I invite all European Districts, Clubs, and individual members to take action and support the initiatives indicated by the International President, choosing the channels of assistance he has identified.

I sincerely thank all the European Districts that have already mobilized so promptly: the initiatives already underway can and must continue, as they represent an extraordinary testament to our solidarity.

At times like this, being a Kiwanian means turning our closeness into concrete action.

Nepal needs us.

The children of Nepal need us.

ONE MONTH TO GO… BUT WE ARE NOT DONE YET!

30 September is just around the corner! One month to go before the end of our administrative year — but don't ask me for the final report yet! We still have targets to reach, follow-up to complete and, hopefully, a few surprises.

Then we will meet in Prague for the traditional Functions Passing, ready to pass the responsibility — and the energy — to the next team.

One month to go. Let's finish strong, keep the energy moving and continue to LIBERATE THE ENERGY!

The year is ending. The European Pathway is just beginning: be ready!

KI-E NEWSFLASH: CONNECTING KIWANIS EUROPE THROUGH COMMUNICATION

The KI-E Newsflash has always been much more than a monthly newsletter. It is an important communication tool that connects Kiwanis members across Europe, allowing us to share our stories, our projects, our achievements and, above all, the spirit of service that unites us.

In a European organisation made up of different countries, languages and cultures, communication plays a strategic role. It helps us discover what other clubs and districts are doing, learn from one another and create a stronger sense of belonging to the Kiwanis European family.

For this reason, I believe that maintaining and revitalising the KI-E Newsflash should be an important priority for the coming years.

The Newsflash can become a real European window for Kiwanis: a place where good practices are shared, successful projects are promoted and members can feel connected beyond their own district or country.

We now have the responsibility to continue what you have built, bringing new energy and new ideas while preserving the spirit that has made the Newsflash an important part of our European Kiwanis family.

And as we look to the future, it is important to recognise and thank the person who has dedicated so many years to making this communication possible: Dolores Muñiz.

Dolores has served Kiwanis Europe with great professionalism, dedication and passion for many years. Her work has contributed significantly to keeping our European community informed and connected.

Today, as she prepares to pass the baton, I would like to express, on behalf of all European Kiwanians, my sincere gratitude and appreciation for everything she has done for Kiwanis Europe.

Dear Dolores, thank you for your commitment, your professionalism and, above all, for the passion you have put into your work. You have left an important mark on European Kiwanis communication.

Did you miss the European convention in Catania? And haven’t had a chance to look through the photo album or watch the city's introductory video? No worries! Relive the highlights of a convention where friends reunited, new friendships were forged, constructive discussions took place and, of course, important decisions regarding the future of KI-E were made!

And now, get ready for the next European convention! It will take place from 10 to 13 June 2027 in Villach, located in the province of Carinthia in southern Austria, on the banks of the River Drava, near the Italian and Slovenian borders.
