POSITIVE NEWS AT THE START OF 2026

Thanks to the 2025-2026 European Strategic Plan and to the actions introduced in this initial phase, we can observe concrete and encouraging results. Since the beginning of the administrative year:

• 5 new clubs have been opened, including 2 Voices Clubs, reflecting our commitment to engaging younger generations and diversifying participation models;
• we have recorded a net gain of approximately 400 new members, reversing for the first time in many years the negative trend.

These results are very likely the first positive effects of the European strategy launched this year: incentives to sponsoring clubs and greater attention to the quality of new clubs, the introduction of Voices Clubs, listening to younger members through the Visionary Leadership Team, and a renewed coherence in our service project portfolio (supporting TPP Campaign).

This promising beginning encourages us to continue with determination on the path we have taken. We are confident that, by moving forward in this direction, we will be able to reverse the negative trend of the past decade and lay the foundation for solid, modern, and sustainable growth.

As we begin 2026, before throwing ourselves heart and soul into our daily activities, let's take the time to look at all these tools that can support clubs to strengthen and expand their presence.

HAPPY 2026 AT KI-E 

May it be a year of service, solidarity and new smiles for children all over Europe!

As the new year begins, I would like to extend my sincere wishes to all European Kiwanian members for a 2026 full of enthusiasm, commitment and energy for the realization of our goals.

The great dream that accompanies this wish is that, together, we can carry out concrete initiatives in line with our mission, aimed at raising awareness and guiding our children to take care of the planet that hosts them and that they will inherit. Educating to respect the environment means investing in the future, cultivating responsibility, awareness and hope.

Planting a tree, cleaning a beach or a run-down neighbourhood in your city, combining art and culture to communicate sustainability: these are the green steps that can give new life to our common European project. Small, simple gestures and behaviors, if shared and spread, become actions of great value.

I am confident that at least one club from every European district will contribute to our common project "Green steps for a bright future", to increase the impact of Kiwanis on communities and to make the world a more sustainable, fairer and more attentive place for the new generations.

May 2026 be a year of concrete commitment, collaboration and growth for all of us, in the name of the values that have always distinguished Kiwanis.

Registration for the 59^th edition of the European convention will open in mid-February! You will then have all the information you need to plan your trip and stay. Stay tuned and keep a close eye on your inbox!

In the meantime, here's some exciting news: The renowned Catanese chef Seby Sorbello is doing us the honour of preparing a gala dinner that is sure to delight our palates.
