Dear Kiwanis Members,
On behalf of KI-E President Josy Glatigny, it is my pleasure to invite you to the next European convention, which will take place in Luxembourg from 18 to 20 May 2024, at Parc Hotel Alvisse.
On Sunday, 19 May, during the House of Delegates at this 57th European convention, we will, besides other items:
- Present and propose to accept the finances 2022-2023 and propose to accept the financial budget 2024-2025.
- Vote on proposed amendments.
- Elect a new KI-E vice president:
- Candidates must have endorsement from their districts.
- Only the following full European Districts can present candidates: Austria, France-Monaco, Germany, Netherlands, Norden, Switzerland-Liechtenstein.
- Elect new trustees.
- Confirm the incoming European Board for the administrative year 2024-2025.
The convention brochure with more details regarding the agenda, information on candidates for election to KI-E and KI leadership functions, and the final convention program will be available in the next few weeks.
Registration
Club members will need to register via the European registration web page exclusively. Please note that only clubs in good standing can present candidates and delegates to the convention. The deadline for clubs to be in good standing is 22 April 2024. Online registration will close on 1 May 2024.
To celebrate this 57th edition of our European convention, the first 100 Kiwanians* to register for our event will receive a bottle of Crémant de Luxembourg, a quality sparkling wine at the highest level!
Certification of club delegates
Club delegates who will take part in the voting during the House of Delegates need to be reported by the club secretary making use of the certificate of election for delegates and alternates. The duly completed certificate needs to be submitted (electronically) no later than 22 April 2024.
