Dear club presidents and secretaries,

On behalf of KI-E President Martien van der Meer, it is my pleasure to invite you to the next European convention, which will take place in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, from 18 to 21 May 2023, at Van der Valk Hotel Amsterdam – Amstel.

On Saturday, 20 May, during the House of Delegates at this 56^th convention, we will, besides other items:

• Present and propose to accept the finances 2021-2022 and accept the financial budget 2023-2024.
• Vote on proposed amendments.
• Elect a new vice president. Candidates must have endorsement from their districts and are to be nominated only by the following full European Districts: Austria, France-Monaco, Germany, Italy-San Marino, Norden, Switzerland-Liechtenstein.
• Elect a new trustee-at-large.
• Confirm the incoming European Board for the administrative year 2023-2024.

The convention brochure with more details regarding the agenda and the final program should be available in the next few weeks.

Registration
Club members will need to register via the European registration web page exclusively. Please note that only clubs in good standing can present candidates and delegates to the convention. The deadline for clubs to be in good standing is 27 April 2023. Online registration will close on 1 May 2023.

Certification of club delegates
Club delegates who will take part in the voting during the House of Delegates need to be reported by the club secretary making use of the certificate of election for delegates and alternates. The duly completed certificate needs to be submitted (electronically) no later than 27 April 2023.
