Dear club presidents and secretaries,
On behalf of KI-E President Martien van der Meer, and as previously communicated on 17 March 2023, I would like to confirm that the 56th European convention will be run as a Special Convention. The event will take place in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, from 18 to 21 May 2023 at Van der Valk Hotel Amsterdam – Amstel.
During this convention we will, among other things, present the finances of the past year and vote on the discharge of the board, elect a new vice president and announce the candidate for the KI trustee at-large seat. We will also vote on proposed amendments and confirm the new KI-E board for the 2023-24 term.
The official programme, the financial overview and all information about the candidates running for office is to be found in the convention brochure, including a page of explanations on why a special convention. You can also find the brochure on our website. Please note that the versions in German, French, Dutch and Italian will be available soon.
Registration
Club members will need to register via the European registration web page exclusively. Please note that only clubs in good standing can present candidates and delegates to the convention. The deadline for clubs to be in good standing is 27 April 2023. Online registration will close on 1 May 2023.
Certification of club delegates
Club delegates who will take part in the voting during the House of Delegates need to be reported by the club secretary making use of the certificate of election for delegates and alternates. The duly completed certificate needs to be submitted (electronically) no later than 27 April 2023.
