Dear Kiwanis Member,
On behalf of KI-E President Josy Glatigny, I'm pleased to invite you to the second KI-E Extraordinary General Assembly.
As previously mentioned, since at the 57th European Convention the necessary quorum was not reached to vote on the new KI-E articles of association, we are legally obliged – as a Luxembourg A.S.B.L. – to organize a second Extraordinary General Assembly.
This second KI-E Extraordinary General Assembly will take place as follows:
- on Saturday, 12 October 2024
- from 14:00 to 15:00
- in Restaurant "de Bräiläffel"

For members who wish to have lunch on site, a €50 menu* will be available from 12:00 to 13:30. Please reserve your seat as soon as possible, as the restaurant's capacity is limited at 50 people (first come, first served). Please note that you can only pay for one person at a time. If you wish to pay for other people, you will need to pay for each person separately.
Voting delegates will be asked to vote on the proposed new simplified articles of association of KI-E. All background information refering to the voting proposal can be found in the explanatory note on the new KI-E articles of association.
Registration
Club members will need to register via the European registration web page exclusively. Please note that only clubs in good standing can present delegates to the second extraordinary general assembly. The deadline for clubs to be in good standing is 1 October 2024. Online registration will close on 1 October 2024.
Certification of club delegates
Club delegates who will take part in the voting during the second extraordinary general assembly need to be reported by the club secretary making use of the certificate of election for delegates and alternates. The duly completed certificate needs to be submitted (electronically) no later than 1 October 2024.
