On behalf of KI-E President Gunnsteinn Björnsson, it is my pleasure to invite you to the next European convention, which will take place in Akureyri, Northern Iceland, from 16 to 18 May 2025, at the Hof Convention Center.
On Saturday, 17 May, during the House of Delegates at this 58th European convention, we will, besides other items:
- Present and propose to accept the finances 2023-2024 and propose to accept the financial budget 2025-2026.
- Vote on proposed amendments.
- Elections (candidates must have endorsement from their districts):
- Elect a new KI-E vice president
- Elect a new KI trustee
- Confirm the incoming European Board for the administrative year 2025-2026.
The convention brochure with more details regarding the agenda, information on candidates for election to KI-E and KI leadership functions, and the final convention program will be available in the next few weeks.
Registration
The registration form for the convention and other activities, such as the partner program, workshops, dinners, etc., will be available shortly. Stay tuned, a follow-up e-mail will soon be sent to you.
Certification of club delegates
Club delegates who will take part in the voting during the House of Delegates need to be reported by the club secretary making use of the certificate of election for delegates and alternates. The duly completed certificate needs to be submitted (electronically) no later than 20 April 2025.
