Dear Kiwanis Members,
On behalf of KI-E President Josy Glatigny, it is my duty and pleasure as Secretary to share with your club the official programme of the 57th European convention, which will take place in Luxembourg from 18 to 20 May 2024, at Parc Hotel Alvisse.
During this convention we will, among other things, present and propose to accept the finances of the past year, elect a new vice president and new KI trustees. We will also present amendments to our Articles of Association to bring them into line with Luxembourg's (recently enacted) A.s.b.l. regulations, as well as updated Policies, Procedures and Guidelines (PP&Gs). We will then confirm the new KI-E board for the 2024-25 term.
Furthermore, you will find all information about the candidates running for office in the convention brochure, as well as the financial overview. You can also find it on our website. The versions in German, French, Dutch and Italian will be available soon.
Registration
Club members will need to register via the European registration web page exclusively. Please note that only clubs in good standing can present candidates and delegates to the convention. The deadline for clubs to be in good standing is 22 April 2024. Online registration will close on 1 May 2024.
IMPORTANT: if you wish to stay at the convention hotel, please book your rooms before 4 April 2024! After this date, neither availability nor the Kiwanis preferential rate can be guaranteed. The link to room reservations and the Kiwanis code can be found on the convention registration form.
Certification of club delegates
Club delegates who will take part in the voting during the House of Delegates need to be reported by the club secretary making use of the certificate of election for delegates and alternates. The duly completed certificate needs to be submitted (electronically) no later than 22 April 2024.
Please note that due to recent legislative changes concerning non-profit organisations in Luxembourg, online remote voting will not be possible. Therefore, voting delegates MUST be present, in person, at the House of Delegate to exercise their voting rights.
